Seasons greetings

I've been very busy these last few weeks on various projects, and feel remiss to not posting anything since my last, especially as I've a lot of old and some new work to post.

Like the old adage 'watch this space in 2013!'

But I will put up more before the old year is out.

Still, for those who read my blog, here is a reworking of an old piece for the season.

Have a good time, in what ever fashion you can, and look out for my record cover and new map design that I will be posting soon.

Thanks for 'following', Russ

  1. Same to you Russ. I have just started following, but have admired your work since I was a youngster, poring over White Dwarf and Fiend Folio in the early 80's. Recently picked up copies of the Robin of Sherwood Fighting fantasy books for my son, and was delighted to see your illustrations in those as well Many thanks

    1. Thank you Springinsfeld that is much appreciated and you will be seeing a lot of old stuff in the coming year.

Hope you and your son liked the illustrations in the Robin Hood books. Done differently in two ways. First the style; I was asked for them to be more 'traditional' and less stylised and secondly, they were drawn with a dip pen and not a technical type as was usual.

    1. Ta Andy ... that will be true as long as I can lift my pen and the creeping arthritis allows it. Best to you and yours.
